On the morning of Christmas Eve, I suffered a severe injury when I tripped over an extension cord, resulting in a fractured and dislocated shoulder, along with a complete tear of all the muscles and tendons in the area. After the initial repositioning of my shoulder, my orthopedic surgeon, upon reviewing my MRI, recommended surgery to repair the extensive damage, including a torn rotator cuff, reattachment of all torn tendons, and realignment of a chipped bone. The surgery took place on Tuesday, January 16th.
Just four days after the surgery, on January 20th, Dr. Saylor from Van Every Family Chiropractic in Royal Oak, MI, introduced me to a new laser tool for treating my six surgical wounds.
