Anna Saylor, D.C.

I grew up in Eastpointe, MI, where I attended East Detroit High School. After high school I headed to East Lansing where I attended Michigan State University. I graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, with a minor in Animal Behavior. Although I love animals, I decided to pursue a career that would allow me to help people. I enrolled in Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas, and headed south. I graduated from Parker in 1997. I’m married to a long time Royal Oak resident, Brent Wither and had my first child, Bric Ashley in 2007.  Our second daughter, Brighton was born in 2010.

Upon my return to Michigan, I bought a building in Royal Oak. After a year of renovation, the building was ready, and I started my own Chiropractic practice. The practice is named “The Van Every Family Chiropractic Center”, after my grandmother’s maiden name.

I then spent an additional 3 years furthering my education in Chiropractic Pediatrics through Palmer Chiropractic College. I graduated with my Diplomate in Pediatrics in 2000.

“There are currently only 250 chiropractors in the world with this advanced degree.”

When I say that I “specialize in children”, you can be assured that I have the ability to help your children get better quicker. When you visit the Jungle room at our office, you will see that we take care of a lot of children in a fun, friendly atmosphere. In fact, most children want to stay and play!
I love being able to help my patients, both children and adults, improve their quality of life. My career also allows me the freedom to be active in the Royal Oak community.
I want my patients to enjoy coming in to the Van Every Family Chiropractic Center – more like visiting with good friends rather than going to a doctor’s office.

Ashley Taggart, D.C

I was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. I began seeing a chiropractor at the age of 10 and after experiencing the changes it made in my life and the lives of my family members I decided it was the best way for me to fulfill my desire to serve others. After completing my undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in 2007, I moved to Marietta, Georgia to attend chiropractic school at Life University. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in September 2011 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While at school, I was able to complete an additional 180-hour education program in Pediatric and Pregnancy care. This education has provided me with the ability to provide specialized care for pregnant women in all stages of their gestation as well as newborns, infants and children. Following graduation I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti and provide chiropractic care to many communities suffering after the 2010 earthquake.

I am passionate about chiropractic and helping my patients achieve optimal health.  I strive to live a healthy lifestyle and chiropractic plays a huge role. I have seen the profound impact a properly functioning nervous system can have on health and overall wellness. I am happy to be serving Royal Oak and the surrounding communities. When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy yoga, kayaking, camping, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you when you come and visit our office to see what chiropractic can do for you.
